The SI-MET College of Nursing, Neyyattinkara was established in the year 2023 is a unit of State Institute of Medical Education and Technology (SI-MET) a Govt of Kerala Undertaking. The initiative of the government was to increase the workforce of nursing personnel to meet the demand that arose globally due to the COVID - 19 pandemic. The College started functioning from November 1st, 2023 with an intake of 60 B.Sc. Nursing students. The Institution aims to lead the nursing students in their personal and professional development, so as to enable them to make maximum contribution to the society as useful and productive citizens and as efficient nurses.

The college is situated in Govt. High School campus, Perupazhuthoor located 3 Kms away from Neyyattinkara railway station and 4 kms from Neyyattinkara bus stand. The College provides skillful clinical experience to the wards by attaching them with the parent hospital, General hospital Neyyattinkara, 436 bedded government hospital which renders excellent service to the people.
