Situated in the lush green lap of ‘Saptha Bhasha Sangama Bhoomi’ (The land of seven languages). SI-MET College Of Nursing is an ambitious endeavour owned by the government of Kerala with the aim to promote quality education in the field of nursing.

The college was inaugurated by Smt. P K Sreemathy, former Hon. Minister for Health and Social Welfare Department Government of Kerala, on 16thNovember 2009. New College building at Ayyampara, Periya was inaugurated by Hon: Chief Minister of Kerala Sri. Oommen Chandy on 1st June 2013. The College is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council and Indian Nursing Council.
