SI-MET Dharmadam is a constituent college of State Institute of Medical Education and Technology which is under health Department, Government of Kerala. This institute is established in the year 2023, currently functioning in Palayad, near to Government higher secondary school, Palayad in Railway station - Chirakkuni road that is Thalassery south block of Kannur.

SI-MET Dharmadam is conducting BSc Nursing programme which is four-year duration. Our motto is excellence and we believe, quality comes from dedication and hard work. Our students are given ample opportunities for theoretical and practical learning. Continuous monitoring and evaluation are carried out in our college to maximize the student output. General hospital Thalassery is the parent hospital of this institution and students are given sufficient clinical exposure

Dr Praveena K R MSc (N), PhD is the present Principal. The dedicated faculty and other staff are keen in imparting quality education to our students. Admission to this college is merit based which is through LBS Centre for Science and Technology. Total seat strength is 60 and the seat distribution are as follows: Merit seats - 85%, NRI seats- 15 %. The college is affiliated to Kerala University of health Sciences (KUHS).
